Memory--eidetic memory

There are many ways to define this fragile existence, many ways to give it its meaning but its memory that gives it a purpose and shape its context. Our amazing ability to store unmapped vast information, to give those an associated categorical meaning and to retrieve it significantly makes us a uniquely placed entity here.
One identifies/ differentiates one's body-mind system from others because of his ability to relate his present to past events and to set his course of actions based on previous experiences.

There are people who remember extreme details of something even if they have only looked at it for a short period of time, read it through once or experienced it only briefly.
Ability to recall information with extreme accuracy and in abundant volume. extraordinarily detailed and vivid recall of visual images. sporadic occurrences of eidetic memory is sometimes common.
